What countries does the EPSD service cover?

What are the fees for access to the EPSD service?

How does the login process work?
On the login page, enter your registered email address in the box provided. When you click on the "Request Code" button, a code is sent to you by email (or optionally SMS). To complete the login, copy the login code from the email (or SMS) into the Login page, and click on the "Login" button. Each login code is valid for 24 hours. Once it expires, you should repeat the above procedure.
The email with the login code did not arrive?
The email should arrive promptly, within a few minutes at most. Please make sure that your spam filter accepts emails from the domain "energyfundamentals.com". If you cannot resolve this, then please contact us to register for SMS authentication, for which you will need to provide your mobile phone number.
Trial login
To request a trial login, please contact us.
The trial login provides you with full access to the EPSD service, so that you can explore the functionality that we provide. The actual data itself is masked (it is replaced by "XXXXX") but you will get a good impression of the various visualisations and functionalities. At any time you are welcome to request a web-based demonstration by one of our sales staff, where we can show you the actual data and answer any questions that you may have.
What are the key data visualisations provided?
For each selection of plant that you have made, the following visualisations are available:
- You can view plant details in tabular or PDF format
- You can plot the geographic locations of plant on a European map, and then click on individual plant icons to see further detail
- The merit order charts allow you to plot a merit order (with custom fuel prices, CO2 prices and fx rates), with colouring used to indicate either different fuel types or different company ownerships
- Various other charts allow you to plot capacity by ownership, capacity by fuel, age distribution of plant.
Can I download the data?
Yes, there are several downloads available:
- You can download any selection of data in spreadsheet format
- Detailed reports of a selection of plant, or of a selection of companies, can be exported in PDF format
- For import into a power market model, you can export the data in various formats (after optionally aggregating it) using the Aggregation/Export tool
